The Sushi restaurant Ask de Chef in Arnhem has been modified, rebuild entirely. The set-up process of three months was used to create a whole new business plan, rebuilding the company (including the new kitchen and restaurant), planning events, training staff and creating all menu items, tackle all legal issues and setting nup all electronical systems (cash register, printers, mobile waitermates, etc.).This three months set-up was done together with a companion. After opening the doors of the restaurant all operational issues were my responsibility, including HR, scheduling, stakeholder communication, marketing, quality control of products and services and ofcourse the financial results.

Duiven

As a part of a team of 5, we were responsible for the entire process of the F&B departments of the hotel. WIth a 320 cover restaurant, 12 banqueting rooms up to 800 guests and a lounge/bar, the service team of Van der Valk Duiven was being trained allround and high-end.

For this international business in design furniture and accessories I have been the mediator between the production facilities in Eastern Europe and the clientele in North-West Europe, including designs, thechnical specifications, legal aspects, timelines and prices. Constant contact with the eatasern facilities was obligatory to Ensure correct communications towards sales and customers.

Coordinating the upcoming trainings and events, discussing operational specifics with our clients. Act as host at internal events, as well as at external events on occasion. Writing Evaluation reports on trainings and workshops given by the field's experts and communicate to clients. At the finance department I worked as assistant and filed all invoices, contacted debtors and set up and made ready the books for payments.
