I have over 25 years of experience in structuring, marketing and trading equities, equity derivatives, ETFs, and structured products in a variety of leadership roles. Most recently, I was Executive Principal and founder of the Toronto office for JonesTrading in Toronto where he opened the office and established the first successful non-US office for the firm. Previous to this, I was a Managing Director with Merrill Lynch Canada leading the firm’s efforts in listed and OTC derivative products, global portfolio trading and structured products. Before moving to Toronto, I lived in NY and Tokyo working for Merrill Lynch and was instrumental in building Merrill’s global portfolio and volatility trading efforts focused on bringing the firm’s global platform to some of Merrill’s largest pension and hedge fund clients. I began my career trading interest rate swaps and options with SocGen in Tokyo. I graduated with an engineering degree from Penn State University and was awarded a MBA from the International University of Japan in Niigata, Japan- a program founded and sponsored by Dartmouth College’s Amos Tuck School.
