The project's aim was to create a Toolkit informing police officers around the world on the responsible use of AI, specifically ensuring that AI operating systems used are fair and trustworthy in upholding the law. I had weekly meetings with INTERPOL and other members of UNICRI in aiding the drafting process of the Toolkit, which is a combination of 7 informational resources and actionable tools for law enforcement officers to use at any stage of their AI operations/life cycle.Other duties involved writing official UN concept notes and reports on our stakeholder meeting with industry, judiciary and academia.
