TOM STOLTZ - A very experienced senior level finance executive with over 25 years of retail industry background in a variety of business settings including Fortune 500 companies (Dollar General Corporation, Food Lion Grocery Stores) and smaller privately-held PE backed growth retailers (Citi Trends, Fanatics). In most recent position, led a change in control transaction to infuse more capital into the publicly-traded Body Central Corporation where Tom led the investor relations function as CFO and COO. Has completed two prior IPOs in his career at Factory Card and Party Outlet in 1996 and again with Citi Trends in 2005. Citi Trends was the number 1 ranked IPO in 2005 based on post IPO stock appreciation that year as raked by the WSJ. Also led the M&A process for Fanatics in 2011 to sell the family business to GSI Commerce. Throughout career Tom has worked closely with most of the major investment banking firms related to IPOs, secondary offerings, or M&A deals. During career Tom has been responsible for a wide range of functional areas beyond the traditional finance role including: legal, risk management, investor relations, IT, HR, real estate, distribution and loss prevention. Tom has a can-do attitude and is able to quickly assess situations and take positive action. A good listener and team player. Due to variety of assignments, Tom can be as hands-on as needed and has built great teams in many of the companies he has been involved with.
