I've been in the glass business since 1981 and in sales since 1987. Both as a CSR as well as field sales, I've sold and/or managed a sales team with a level of success that I'm proud of. Budgets and expectations of growth have never scared me. For 10 years, I managed the US for a Chinese aluminum extruder. Increasing business from 100 ton per month to 900 ton when I left (due to US Commerce Dept. and the addition of a 375% anti-dumping tax).Building relationships and keeping my customers happy have been my strength. To me, it's all about how you treat your customers business. You have to have a sense of urgency that doesn't quit until your customer is satisfied.
