As a Strategic Advisor at Let's Learn Irish, I am passionate about promoting the use and preservation of the Irish language, also known as Gaelic. As a language-enthusiast, I believe that every language is precious, and it is important to preserve them for future generations.In my role, I work closely with the team at Let's Learn Irish to develop strategies and initiatives that will help increase awareness and usage of the Irish language. This includes working with schools, community groups, and businesses to promote the language and its cultural significance.Through my work, I have gained a deep appreciation for the history and traditions of the Irish language, as well as the challenges that come with preserving a minority language. As a past Board Member at the Capitol Hill Jazz Foundation, I had the honor of working towards preserving the rich cultural heritage of Jazz music in Washington D.C. and beyond. One of my primary responsibilities was to organize the yearly "Capitol Hill Jazz Festival," which brought together talented musicians and the community in a celebration of this vibrant and soulful genre.During my tenure on the Board, I collaborated closely with other members to develop strategies and initiatives that supported our mission of preserving and promoting Jazz music. This involved working with musicians, volunteers, sponsors, and local businesses to ensure the festival's success and to promote Jazz as a cultural and economic asset for the community.Through my work with the Capitol Hill Jazz Foundation, I had the opportunity to meet and work with some incredibly talented musicians and passionate individuals who shared my love for Jazz music. It was an incredible experience, and I feel grateful to have been a part of an organization that contributed to the preservation of this important cultural heritage.
