As one of the longest running plumbing, heating and air conditioning companies in New Jersey, Tom, alongside fellow Co-Owner and Field Technician, Bill Schinestuhl, have continued the company's long tradition of quality work and customer service, focusing on Union, Essex and Middlesex counties.

Tom founded Tom Swick Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning to provide him with the independence of creating his own unique work product and service offerings that allowed him be a leader in the field for almost twenty years. Tom not only provided quality work and service for his clients, he also trained and managed several technicians committed to the principles that defined the company's success in the region. With his continued focus on meeting the diverse needs of his growing customer base, Tom decided to partner with a fellow local technician and owner, Bill Schinestuhl. Identifying the synergy within their own companies, Tom and Bill then acquired Chapman Brothers Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, where they both currently manage and work alongside with an expert team of field service technicians committed to their customers.

Tom started his career at United Oil focusing on heating service in both residential and commercial properties. During his tenure at United Oil, Tom expanded his technical service capabilities into the areas of plumbing and air conditioning, while refining the customer service skills that still separate him and his company from the field today. In addition to the development of these skills, Tom also attained his license as a New Jersey Master Plumber in 1980
