Early in my journey, the time I spent in the Air Force built a foundation of accountability, Integrity, loyalty, honesty, and respect. These values have helped propel me in every aspect of my life. After leaving the Air Force, I started, what would be a 10-year career in medical equipment sales working with people in need of mobility devices. This ranged from the basic of wheelchairs to highly advanced and complex. I quickly became the facilitator/manager between the patient, Doctor, Therapists, the insurance companies, and manufacturer Reps. Through continuing education, hard work and perseverance, I quickly excelled achieving credibility with Kaiser, MS Society, Providence Health systems, OHSU MS, Children’s and Outpatient clinics in the Portland, Oregon area. After leaving the Medical Equipment sales field, I continued my sales career in tobacco. I represented and helped launch brands that would become one of the Country’s largest chewing tobacco companies. I have managed very large territories that covered 1/4 of the states of Washington and Oregon. After transitioning to RJ Reynolds, I have gained professional credibility with my accounts by mastering go-to-market strategies, driven national brand awareness, maximized distribution channels, bolstered customer & consumer loyalty and have yielded strong and sustainable revenue and profitability gains.
