I've provided creative and strategic leadership through discovery to live services in cities and with governments across Europe.

Developing a culture of experimentation and testing at DML. Working globally to create institutions, instruments and infrastructures for a more equitable, caring and sustainable future. I worked to embed a culture of iterative development, prototyping and experimentation to help DML's great explorations land in the real world.

After stepping down from operational roles at Makerversity I remained on the board for several years.

I cofounded Makerversity in 2013 and have led its growth at Somerset House, London and expansion to Europe with our new site in Amsterdam. I built a team of 20 across both sites that now runs a successful sustainable social enterprise. Makerversity supports early stage creative businesses exploring emerging technologies and practices. Our members range from engineering startups exploring new manufacturing techniques, to urban farmers, material scientists and synthetic biologists.We build and run a membership community and work spaces for professional makers, which combine co-working space with clean and messy workshop space, machines and tools and labs. Through our spaces we bring together a range of creative and technical expertise. We have a membership community of over 170 creative businesses across sites in London and Amsterdam.Makerversity is also a learning organisation. We work with our members to design and deliver learning programmes, work experience and curriculums for schools. Our mission is to inspire the next generation of creative and practical minds and increase the diversity within the creative, tech, science and engineering industries. All our programmes are free for young people to attend, and Makerversity members have the opportunity to play an active part in these programmes and are encouraged to pass on their experiences and expertise to others, therefore offering young people unrivalled opportunities to learn about the jobs and industries of tomorrow. We have created over 700 jobs since our inception in 2013.Partners include the British Council, Selfridges, Pearson, Autodesk, Microsoft, The Shell Foundation, Rough Trade, and the National Endowment for Science Technology and Arts. In 2016, we were recognised nationally and globally for innovation, Winning the N.I.C.E Award as Europe's most innovative social business as well as being listed as one of Britain's 50 New Radicals by the Observer and NESTA.

Supporting Yorkshire Artspace as a trustee, with a particular focus on education, up-skilling and employing digital ways of working in a small charity.

As an active member of the board of trustees at Meanwhile Foundation, I was responsible for guiding and supporting the development of HR, finance and legal processes in a small, space based charity. I supported the navigation of leases, property use and the challenges of a membership organisation and helped to nurture a small team of staff dedicated to providing workspace to London's creative and social enterprise community. I ultimately supported the merger between Meanwhile Foundation and Meanwhile Space Ltd, leaving the charity's goals in saf hands for the long term.
