Develop and assign stories of interest for all five newscasts a day. Daily contact with national news networks regarding stories of regional and national interest. Writing news stories in an interesting and factual manner for our on air newscasts as well as our website. Oversee immediate coverage of breaking news events in central Iowa and around the state, making KCCI the number one rated television station in Iowa. Key Achievements: Networking with local charities and nonprofits to get their message out through news coverage.Through my leadership, KCCI has been awarded several Emmy and Edward R.
