Tom Transue is a Computational Biochemist at General Dynamics Information Technology. He possess expertise in science, data analysis, biochemistry, bioinformatics, molecular modeling and 17 more skills. He is proficient in Dutch, Spanish and French. Colleagues describe him as "For the last eight years I have served as Tom Transue's manager on Lockheed Martin's scientific programming team at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Research Triangle Park, NC. It has been a pleasure working with him. Year after year he has taught himself new skills and applied them in his work such that he has won many performance awards from EPA and Lockheed Martin. The results of his work have also been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals as a co-author with EPA scientists. The quality of Dr. Transue's work and his customer service have been so good that he has brought in to our group hundreds of thousands of dollars in additional funding for projects we would not have otherwise received. In addition to his chemistry knowledge and sales skills, he has also proven to be exceptionally curious, adaptable, and an outstanding learner. Proof of this is his outstanding work with Semantic Web technologies on a new project our team received last year involving lifecycle assessments of products.
