I am currently working full time as a performance analyst for the Sydney Swans, servicing both the Senior and Reserves teams. I worked as an intern in this role in 2021, before starting part time in November 2021. This role follows from completing my Honours degree in Bsc. Analytics at UTS. My project involved creating a metric to determine objective player value within the Australian Football League. I have a strong passion for sports data and performance analysis. I also worked as a data analyst for Proxima Investments for a year between July 2021 and June 2022, building datasets and backtesting models. I majored in finance in my degree, and also have a passion for working in that area. I believe I am a fast learner and good at working in a team, skills I have shown and improved upon in my current role and while working as part of the cellar team at the Newport Hotel.
