19 years in front line and behind the scenes retail and more than ten years in credit union member service taught me many things, including customer service skills, a sense of urgency at times and a need to work carefully and cautiously at other times. I have learned the importance of cost effectiveness without taking shortcuts and the need to work efficiently. I see my freelance writing as my own business. As the owner I have more control over quality, how much time to invest and how much reward to reap for my efforts. My name is on what I write, so I focus on quality and, if possible, regular updates and improvements.In my retail job and in my freelance writing, I was always open to learning new things. I have taken several online courses to improve my writing, and also studied Italian using the Rosetta Stone online course. My ideal job will be one where I can continue to grow personally and professionally. I will be a team player and expect fair compensation for my efforts. It will certainly involve writing on a daily basis. I enjoy what I do with Navy Federal Credit Union and look forward to more experiences and opportunities that await me there.
