CurrentWOW what a fantastic career! Out with a bang. CMOS imagers are among the most interesting and complicated integrated circuits in the world:Typically they contain: Very fast ADCs & DACsMIPI, Parallel, HISPI, I2C & SPI interfaces,RAMs, ROMs, OTPM, SRAMs,Lots of analog and switched capacitor circuits,Active Pixel Sensors (pinned photo diode arrays with in-pixel amplifiers, microprocessors (ARC, ARM, CISC processors)Power management systems.Thermal management systems. low noise processing (pixels are typically < 5E- noise)extremely accurate low level signal processing (typically, 1LSB is < 1E).I wish I had more time to play with this stuff but, it is time to leave the field to another up and coming group of engineers. Good-luck ladies & gentlemen. And again it sure was fun!
