Tom Watford brings over 30 years experience in the healthcare industry, where he has delivered Professional and IT services to clients in the Healthcare Provider, Health Plan and Life Sciences sectors. As a co-founder of Santa Rosa, Tom led the growth of a start up consulting firm in 2009 to a leading healthcare consulting organization providing professional services to hospitals across the full life-cycle of HC IT projects. Prior to joining Santa Rosa, Tom served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of First Consulting Group, Inc, a $300M NASDAQ listed company serving the healthcare industry. Tom led a financial turnaround from an $18m loss to $18M in profit and 300% increase in cash. At FCG, Tom was responsible for all delivery unit organizations in the corporation including Health Delivery, Health Delivery Outsourcing, Health Plan, Life Sciences and Software Services as well as responsibility for the Shared Service Center operations including Infrastructure Services, FCG India and FCG Vietnam. Tom, along with the CEO developed the strategic evaluation and management of the process that resulted in the sale of FCG to a $15B public company. Prior to FCG, Tom was an Associate Partner in the Healthcare Practice for Accenture, where he delivered professional and IT services to large clients in the healthcare provider and health plan markets.
