Key member of a software design team responsible for updating a legacy desktop application to a web based application using C# and Angular.

Conceptualized, developed, and published iOS and Android applications using native SDKs. Applications include entries in the shopping, social, finance, database, navigation and gaming genres. Many applications make use of a hosted MySQL database using PHP scripts with support web pages built with HTML and JavaScript.A Wish List allows users to create wish list for themselves or friends and family to share with others. Users can describe each item using text, a weblink, and pictures. Users also have the option of scanning bar codes to gather item information. Each wish list has a message board feature that allows users to share information such as where to find an item on sale or anything else. Users can also generate reports to determine how much they have spent on a particular occasion. This feature also provides a comparison option so a budgeted amount can be spent on each person. Currently developing a social game application utilizing a web hosted MYSQL database along with a PHP web service and JSON to share game data between users.

Creation and design of custom software applications for data mining, analytics and productivity purposes and through the use of proprietary software and Excel, ensure the smooth development of the electrical portion of electric motors. Provide clarification and handle applications questions to support customer service, marketing and sales groups and key involvement with the training and mentoring of new design and applications engineers and members of the sales team.

Courses Taught: Introduction to Automation - Introduction to industrial processes and tools including robots. Sensors and Transducers - Overview of a variety of sensors used in an industrial or test setting. Labs are constructed around Arduino Microcontroller boards with sensors as inputs to the microcontroller. Programming is performed in C. Microcontrollers - Microcontroller operations and functions. Programmed in assembly language using Codewarrior.

Provided support to the design engineering department through the design, performance and analyzing of tests of vehicle components and chassis as well as the subsequent recommendation of design modifications and report production. Key Accomplishments:• Programmed a controller using C for a piece of test equipment, saving the company circa $30K in additional purchase costs. • Designed a vehicle component test, ultimately reducing the amount of testing equipment required from 3 pieces to 1 whilst maintaining the accuracy of the original set up.• Wrote and implemented PLC Code to operate test fixtures, saving time and costs through enabling tests to be carried out through automation and unsupervised.
