My career began as a job shop machinist making custom parts. After graduating from Cal Poly with a degree in Manufacturing Process I began my career as a Manufacturing Engineer for a large Defense contractor. I specialized in electronic and mechanical assembly. As my experience grew, so too did my passion for solving problems; incredible career opportunities began to emerge. I’ve had the privilege of working for small, medium and large companies, including the four years I spent taking my own (injection molding product development) company from concept through launch. After achieving my personal goals, I sold my shares in the business and continued to pursue my passion to further my design, engineer and programming crafts. As a lifelong learner, I consider it a joy to have gotten to work in multiple industries, including Defense Electronics (circuit board manufacturing, wiring harnessing, computer/PLC integration), Medical (surgical, physical rehabilitation, dental), and Food and Beverage. Within those diverse sectors, I’ve served as Design Engineer, Operations Manager, Programming Engineer and Senior Product Manager and Interim CEO. I gained rich experience in all aspects of organizational management and ERP systems and specialized in department turnarounds. I’m highly skilled at document writing and editing, with a keen ability to develop concise unambiguous documents and systems.
