In addition, maintenance of BOMs anddaily review with production of current WIP.• Regular contact with Customer care and Sales to ensure any queries are resolved in a timely manner & offering adviceas required.• Liaising with Purchasing on material requirements and resolving parts shortages to ensure customer requirements aremet with the agreed time frame.• Scheduling materials to meet the production requirements.• Coordinating with Engineering and Facilities Maintenance to resolve and production issues quickly to avoid delays.• Reporting via Metrics on current production delivery performance, identifying solutions where necessary to resolveperformance issues.• Active member of the NPI team working closely with project management, Engineering and Manufacturing to enableswift transition from to product proposal to delivery.
Purchasing Manager

Shipping Manager
• Manage team of 5 people with weekly metrics reviews & quarterly KPI reviews.• Ensuring all items delivered to despatch are shipped on time to meet our customer request date.• Preparation of shipping paperwork, commercial invoices, packing notes, Air Waybills and dangerous goods information.• Weekly review of customers’ accounts on hold and the predicted impact on the weeks shipping figures.• Maintenance and training based on changing HMRC rules and regulations, particularly; incoterms, dangerous goods andcompliance.• Yearly HMRC and dangerous goods audit with the BIS (Department of Business Innovation and Skills).• Daily reporting to Senior Management of daily, weekly and quarterly shipping figures.• Coordinate with Production colleagues to ascertain delivery schedules to ensure that any necessary steps are in placefor on time delivery to customers.
