Chief Deputy
CurrentAs the Chief Deputy of Patrol for the County of El Paso, my primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and security of our community while enforcing the law effectively. I oversee a team of 269 sworn deputies and managing an office budget exceeding $102,000,000 is a critical aspect of my role. I carefully allocate resources to meet our operational needs while adhering to financial guidelines and ensuring transparency in our financial practices. In addition to patrol duties, I am responsible for courthouse security, warrant enforcement, fugitive pick-up and extradition, civil process execution, and overseeing law enforcement in the unincorporated areas of the county. I am also entrusted with leading and directing major criminal investigations for smaller municipalities within the County of El Paso.
