Working within the electrical inspection and commissioning department towards completion of various modules for the Tengiz Oil Field in Kazakhstan. Carrying out hazardous area ATEX inspections on electrical & instrument equipment, such as lighting and small power / motors / HVAC / transformers and UPS systems ensuring requirements were met prior to project client discipline acceptance walk downs. Working within the Electrical Commissioning department on the Montrose Alpha Redevelopment project and HUC scope of the BLP.Carrying out pre-job risk assessments and carrying out work under ISSOW permit to work system. Commissioning and testing of electrical and instrument equipment, such as lighting and small power, motors, HVAC, transformers and UPS. Working alongside the mechanical department in completing no load runs and load runs through VSD systems, complete as built drawings as required and completion of system ITR sheets. Involved with the switch board cubicle fire & gas migration and the switchboard ACB upgrades working alongside the blackbird starling vendors witnessing injection testing and completing ductor testing on the circuit breakers.Involved with discipline acceptance walk downs and tri party walk downs and then required to source documentation to put together final commissioning completion handover packs.

Working as part of a team commissioning electrical and associated instrumentation systems on the Montrose BLP Topside project in Holland.Work scope including LV Lighting systems, assisting the vendors completing pump runs, high voltage switchgear, fire & gas, ESD and DCS control. Involved with the setting up of the temporary generation.

Working on various equipment up to 3.3kv on the surface plant operations at Cleveland Potash Mine as a Maintenance Electrician. My duties included routine maintenance, breakdowns, fault diagnosis, corrective maintenance and the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment, weekly, monthly and yearly maintenance schedules and installing and commissioning new equipment. Coordinating with Operations personnel for start-up and shutdown of electrical equipment.

MC Field Engineer coordinating teams of technicians to achieve mechanical completion and Sub system hand over to commissioning. Conducting walk downs on a system by system basis to achieve efficient handover to allow commissioning activities to begin. Full overall control of clearing outstanding punch list items across all disciplines, including liaison with vendors and suppliers to achieve 0 punch list item handover.

Conducting an Ex Hazardous area equipment base line survey to enable population of a new Ex database system. The survey involved visual inspection of all Ex electrical equipment on the process and marine decks, reporting and or rectifying any faults or problems.
