Serving as a 'Critical Friend' to the Service Director, Clinical Directors, Clinical & Non Senior Leaders, and their teams on matters concerning Business, People, and Workforce.Responsible for providing expert and specialized advice in HR and Organizational Development (OD) within a specific care groups, as well as contributing to the development of the workforce strategy for that business area in alignment with Trust-wide strategies and plans.Collaborating in the development of workforce plans for each service within the care group, covering aspects such as resourcing, talent management, and learning and development strategies.Offering strategic guidance and leadership on initiatives aimed at improving efficiency through the introduction of new work practices, organizational restructuring, and optimization of the workforce.

My role consisted of supporting and facilitating the implementation of the E-Rostering system to all employees and areas of the organisation. As part of my role I offered support to all employees, acted as the main point of contact relating to E-Rostering and built up a sound working relationship across the organisation to enable the efficient use of an e-rostering system. In addition I undertook ad hoc project work and data analysis to support the senior management team in the understanding the efficiency of E -Rostering within the organisation.

I led operational and clinical investigations into complaints and incidents related to the NHS 111 Service. This involved conducting in-person discussions with patients, relatives, commissioners, senior managers, and internal and external stakeholders like the South West Ambulance Service. I provided guidance and assistance to staff and clinicians regarding policies and procedures. Throughout the investigation process, I served as the primary point of contact for staff, patients, and their families until the investigation concluded. After the investigation, my responsibility was to ensure that any necessary actions were taken to enhance the quality of service provided. Additionally, I conducted ad hoc audits and data analysis to identify and address recurring themes and trends.
