I provide administrative and engineering support services on various projects related to the construction or repair of roads, airports, bridges, sewers and watermains mainly within the Heavy Civil and Municipal markets.My job duties include but are not limited to the following:•Understand Occupational Health and Safety standards, performance objectives & targets•Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations for construction projects by implementing the Company’s OH&S management system•Lead the workforce to ensure efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.•Monitor and report on operational issues; Implement appropriate action to achieve/exceed business objectives and targets.•Plan, coordinate and supervise construction activities including crews and equipment as well as various subtrades and subcontractors•Maintain and manage plans, specifications, cost and material estimates, subcontract and related reports•Establish, monitor and initiate updates to, construction work schedules•Maintain accurate cost control plans •Coordinate proper procurement of construction materials •Expedite progress payment certificates, final payment certificates and all extra work orders •Understand and operate in accordance with company programs, policies and legislative requirements to ensure that environmental standards and performance objective targets are met.•Coordinate with other team members to deliver seamless service to customers.Past projects include: AirLINX: Air Rail Link Spur at Pearson International Airport Denison Road Grade Separation - MetrolinxHwy 409, 427 to IslingtonHwy 401, Jane to Kipling(Contract Values approximately $50 million to $150 million)
