Invited back from the year before, I worked on a different research-based project beginning to investigate and characterise the properties of a communications system. Although I did not completely finish the project in the time available, I gained valuable knowledge by independent researching of a new technically-complex field, collected interesting data which could be analysed further, and learned more about general data collection, interaction and manipulation with python.

A 12 week internship investigating and creating a proof-of-concept for an RF hardware product, with no prior RF experience. I built up the necessary skills quickly along the way, and the project was guided by my findings. I,- Researched and analysed academic papers, familiarising myself with the subject area.- Designed a CAD model and simulated the design in CST Microwave Studio-Investigated the results and analysed data in Python, theoretically and empirically predicting trends-Determined additional areas of research that were relevant-Outlined my findings in a 2000-word report, and summarised in a presentation
