Delivered the technical content for the first HS2 rolling stock procurement including the Train Technical Specification, the technical elements of the rolling stock and maintenance contracts and the associated elements of the tender evaluation model.

Scope included all on-board mechanical, electrical and control systems across multiple simultaneous client projects.

Established UK department responsible for systems and software delivery of train control systems on new build projects. Four major UK rail vehicle projects delivered, plus take-over of a further three projects for maintenance phase.

Developed systems engineering strategies to enhance project delivery. Of particular note, developed and introduced requirements management approach within the Bombardier Engineering System including leading the introduction of process and tool on early adopter projects in the UK and overseas. Led the technical risk assessment during tendering and project mobilisation across four international engineering sites.
