I am driven to use engineering principles to solve problems that help make a difference in people’s lives. I enjoy working on and solving complex multi-faceted engineering problems. I have thoroughly enjoyed the clinical nature of this type of experimentation and bringing my engineering knowledge to the real world. I appreciate the process and the discovery of new results and pushing the forefront of knowledge, but more importantly I enjoy seeing laboratory or bench top research turn into devices or products that will be used to improve the lives of the users. I have been very fortunate to have been involved in all aspects of the experimental device design, prototype manufacture, production and assembly for many projects at Vanderbilt and in my time as a graduate student at University of Michigan.Specialties: mechanics, CAD, biomechanics, device design, prototype construction, rapid prototyping, human subject testing,
