The result will be a more economically vibrant, walkable, greener and attractive corridor that benefits neighborhoods and the business community. Arlington County is providing funding for a comprehensive planning study which began in 2019. The ultimate goal is the development of a new Generalized Land Use Plan (GLUP) for Lee Highway to guide future rezoning and development applications. In 2021 selected to serve as Chair of the Events Committee, leading the planning and implementation of annual fundraising and mission-oriented community events conducted by the LBA.

The Working Group’s recommendations will be forwarded to the LHA Board for its review and then to the Arlington County Board.
