Appointed by the Arlington County Board of Supervisors to serve on the Board of Directors of the Langston Boulevard Alliance (LBA) in 2017, reappointed in 2021. The nonprofit Alliance was incorporated in 2016. The mission is to create a joint community vision to advocate and promote the revitalization of the Lee Highway corridor. The result will be a more economically vibrant, walkable, greener and attractive corridor that benefits neighborhoods and the business community. Arlington County is providing funding for a comprehensive planning study which began in 2019. The ultimate goal is the development of a new Generalized Land Use Plan (GLUP) for Lee Highway to guide future rezoning and development applications. In 2021 selected to serve as Chair of the Events Committee, leading the planning and implementation of annual fundraising and mission-oriented community events conducted by the LBA.

Directs operation and expansion of a five generation family business based in the Allegheny National Forest. Here in the 1860s, the world's petroleum industry was born. Twice wounded civil war veteran, Captain John J. Haight acquired property and formed an independent oil and gas production company. For over one hundred forty years the family has operated first in Forest County and later in Warren County. The region is also home to some of the finest hardwood forests in the world. The Wolfe Oil Company continues to hold properties throughout the region managing oil, gas and sustainable timber interests.

Supervise, direct and assign volunteer docents for smooth execution of up to fifty tours per day involving hundreds of visitors to the sixth largest cathedral in the world. Welcome student and tourist bus groups. Interim chief usher directing and assigning volunteer ushers serving the four Sunday worship services.

Member of the Cathedral Task Force appointed by the Episcopal Bishop of Washington and the Dean of the Washington National Cathedral. Charged with gathering insights from leaders in the local and national Episcopal church, local and national governments, other religious traditions, and non-profits to make recommendations on the Cathedral’s current and future role in the public discourse of the community and the nation. Co-chair of Task Force's Public Engagement Subcommittee, responsible for outreach and interviews with leaders in government and public theology.

One of twenty-five citizens appointed by the Lee Highway Alliance (LHA) Board to the Working Group On Renaming Lee Highway. Charged with recommending three to five new names that can be forwarded to the Arlington County Board for its consideration. The Working Group will supply a thorough explanation for its #1 choice, based on adherence to public input, responsiveness to branding needs, business insights, and research. This effort pertains to the 4.6 stretch of US 29 in Arlington County. The potential new namesshould be reflective of and compatible with the LHA Guiding Principles, to Establish a Welcoming, Vibrant, and Attractive Corridor of Neighborhood Places. The Working Group’s recommendations will be forwarded to the LHA Board for its review and then to the Arlington County Board.

Provide strategic counsel for development and advancement of federal public policy. Conceive and deliver legislative and political strategy, issues development and grassroots campaigns.Established the first Washington, DC based representation for a national trade association. Succeeded in creating a significant federal presence with the executive and legislative branches while delivering knowledge critical to the association and impacting public policy. Created new working relationships with national corporate and non-profit organizations raising visibility and insuring the association is part of and contributing to all relevant discussions.

Directed development and implementation of the legislative program for a two-billion dollar federal bureau which has management oversight for three hundred and ninety-one sites in seven regions within forty-nine states. Led a ten member team providing legislative services and congressional liaison including preparation of testimony before Congress involving eighteen legislative hearings and eight oversight hearings covering seventy-eight bills and responding to twenty sets of follow-up questions. Principle liaison with the Department of the Interior and seven other departmental bureaus coordinating Administration policy while overseeing the drafting of fifty-one Administration legislative proposals and twenty-four bills requested by Members of Congress. Facilitated reporting and action steps on all legislative activity with the directorate and associate and regional directors while concurrently contributing to legislative advancement as a member of the National Leadership Council.

Selected by the International Republican Institute, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization whose mission is to advance freedom and democracy worldwide, to serve in a select special assignment to provide analysis and programmatic direction to the nation of Oman. As on-site project director in the Sultanate of Oman, conducted a first hand study and needs assessment of the Members and staff of the lower House of the Omani Parliament. Interviewed over one hundred professional staff and elected members to assess the organizational capacity and internal training programs while identifying strengths and weaknesses of both. Presented a comprehensive assessment report and two-year training plan providing direction for continued resource support from the Institute for the ongoing establishment of a free standing, publicly elected national legislature empowered to enact laws.

Managed and directed operations of five congressional offices while leading a professional staff of eighteen. Conceived and directed the successful implementation of legislative, communications and political plans and programs. Directed operation and development of constituent services and correspondence systems for responding to thousands of emails and postal messages that required a ten day turnaround. Facilitated operations and coordination between the House Budget Committee majority staff and Member offices. Served as primary liaison to business, professional and political communities.
