Passionate about all things innovative in technology. However, I have a focus on some upcoming topics, including computer vision (CV), Internet of Things (IoT) and embedded machine learning (TinyML).I am calling myself a Hackathon veteran after competing in 13 hackathons (so far 😁) and winning some of them. This is where I like to spend my weekends. Throughout my Computer Science studies at TU Dortmund in Germany 🇩🇪 I used the opportunity to explore Leiden University in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 as well as ETH Zürich in Switzerland 🇨🇭.Since studying can get quite boring, I have been working on interesting projects since high school to fill these gaps. I started at a small software company in my hometown, where I improved internal tools based on .Net technology. I moved on to my current position at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics in Dortmund. Here, I work together with researchers and logistics experts to close the gap between industry and cutting-edge research.I thrive on giving back what I learned through my mentorship at TechLabs Ruhr. It is very fulfilling to see tech beginners learning and applying new technology and making use of the guidance I can give them.
