Tom Abraham, AIA, leads elemental with a deep commitment to design excellence. His experience includes designing and managing various project typologies, ranging from large-scale facilities and commercial interiors to single-family and multi-family residential projects and object design. His leadership is complemented by a continuing commitment to education and mentorship. He has been a guest critic at numerous academic reviews, has taught at The City College of New York School of Architecture, and served on the faculty of New York University College of Arts and Science.Tom has been invited to international design competitions multiple times, and his work has been exhibited internationally. Mr. Abraham was selected to participate in the Emerging New York Architects mentee program by the New York Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. In 2011, he was named to Engineering News Record New York inaugural “Top 20 Under 40” design professionals.A graduate of The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, he is licensed to practice architecture in New York & New Jersey, holds NCARB Certification, and is a LEED Accredited Professional by the US Green Building Council. Before his education in architecture, Tom was a certified Emergency Medical Technician with Mass Casualty Incident Management training and served as a first responder, adding a unique and invaluable perspective to his architectural practice.
