I am responsible for all incentive reporting for the Learning Solutions sales team including goal setting, actual reporting and payout calculations. I assist in gathering school information from over thirty distributors to ensure our sales force get proper credit. I'm part of the Higher Education iPub database enhancement team.

In this role, I was responsible for all inventory decisions related to Technology Education product, including determination of print, reprint, donation and destruction quantities. I represented Higher Education in moving McGraw-Hill to an integrated Oracle based system where I was managed data cleanup and validation, tested the new application, and trained staff in the new systems.I redefined sales falloff rates to remove seasonal distortions and make the rates far more accurate. Identified several issues causing “external” inventory levels to be overstated and reduced those levels from $4 million to $900K. Using my Financial Analyst background, I created improvement in the donation process to save 200 hours in manual data entry.

I managed inventory and finances for the Technology Education Group as Inventory and Business Manager. Responsible for all inventory decisions related to Technology Education product, including determination of print, reprint, donation and destruction quantities and worked with the Sales group on special projects feasibility. I put together Technology Education Group’s annual budget, assisting each department in determining their staffing and expense needs while keeping in line with corporate requirements. I gathered revenue/expense forecasts from the sales, marketing and editorial groups and made recommendations on the profit potential of proposed projects.
