I generate corporate sponsorships and care provider memberships so that we can act as a safety net for care workers through our financial and wellbeing support. I attend care sector events in person to converse with care workers, develop my knowledge of the care sector, and collaborate with care providers and corporate companies. I also research other charity partnerships online to maximise the mutual benefits of our collaborations with other organisations.

I increased the economic agency of women in their empowerment project by facilitating sales workshops, thus enabling them to sell their hand-made baby alpaca products. This led to over £5,000 worth of their products being sold which increased their economic independence. I also strengthened relations with existing sales partners and generated 20 new local and international partnerships by personalizing communications and thanking them for supporting the project.

I provided one-to-one support for students with complex learning disabilities to increase their communication skills and independence. I helped students in practical ways by developing their everyday living skills, and supported them emotionally by giving them the confidence to express themselves and their needs. I also managed challenging behaviour through my calm tone of voice and positive body language to help students feel safe and calm. *I worked here from November 2018 to May 2019 and then again from April 2020 to December 2021

I organised and led a presentation and pub quiz on child trauma that raised over £600 for Action for Child Trauma International (ACTI), thus helping pay for four child care workers to attend a full CATT training course to treat children with PTSD. I then raised over £1,000 by running the Brighton marathon; deploying fundraising techniques such as match-funding and sharing training content on social media to increase awareness of ACTI.

I promoted the benefits of consuming organic produce in local communities by telling real-life stories and and engaging clients with natural food processes. I regularly exhibited at organic events across the South East of England and I signed up 13 people for weekly organic produce box deliveries at one event. I also trained new salespersons to engage naturally with customers which increased consumer confidence and membership renewals.
