Led the innovations and advancements in product development, and engineering and certification capabilities that transformed the facility from a manufacturer of custom cable and harness assemblies to a facility that is now differentiated by the mechanical and structural aspects of custom product design, overall mechanical engineering analysis and test capabilities, and structural modification design and certification capabilities. • Led the first project to design and certify a structural modification of an aircraft and the continual advancement of this capability up to the current, exemplified by certificated large format satellite communication antenna installation designs, which are now the largest revenue producing projects for the company. • Led the first project and all advancements in product and engineering capabilities, to design, manufacture, and qualify advanced composite structures.• Led mechanical/structural design, analysis, test and certification activities for the first, and 100+ thereafter, FAA Supplemental Type Certificates (STC).• Led the incorporation and continuous advancement of analysis & test capabilities, such as: FEA, CFD, dynamic loads, aerodynamic loads, damage tolerance, fatigue, environmental conditions (RTCA/DO-160, MIL-STD-180), reliability and hydraulically driven static loads.
