Lead Technical Resource and technical project manager on the Innovate Ohio Platform project to implement and transition agency applications to the Enterprise Authentication and Authorization structure. Successfully implemented the first application (OhSnap) to IOP production. Evaluate infrastructure security exposure and readiness for known vulnerabilities. Managed a team of IT State staff members and contractors responsible for UNIX, Middleware and production support for the agency infrastructure and major applications as well as coached and mentored staff. Managed project implementation for document generation and storage, secured interfaces with Federal agencies, security and vulnerability upgrades and security audits for Statewide applications. Developed gap analysis and strategic plan for expanding staff head count and staff training to enhance customer experience, increase efficiency and accomplish senior leadership objectives. Responsible for analyzing hardware and software cost and budgets.

Technical Lead on several projects to upgrade agency infrastructure to improve efficiency and performance. Leveraged Python and Shell scripting to automate tasks and deployments and maximize productivity. Proposed plan and executed upgrade of patch levels for all agency application running WebSphere from WebSphere 7 to WebSphere 7.0.0.43 and WebSphere 8.5 to WebSphere 8.5.5.11 to mitigate security vulnerability in SSLv3. Proposed plan and executed migration all agency application behind the legacy network F5 Big-IP load balancer to the F5 Viprion load balancer to mitigate several security issues (POODLE, SHA1 retirement, SSLv3 Protocol retirement, adding TLS 1.2 support, MITM attacks) and ensure secure renegotiation of requests. Mentored and trained staff. Partnered with network teams to resolve high-level networking related to agency Statewide applications.

Past member and judge for the National Physique Committee the largest bodybuilding federation. Currently an NPC National judge (i.e. JR USA, JR Nationals, Masters Nationals, North Americans, Nationals). Home judging site Team Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky under NPC District Chairman Rick Bayardi and Zone Chairman Gary Udit.

Developed detailed and critical technical solutions and designs for infrastructure. Completed major upgrade of Statewide Unemployment, Medicaid, and Employment systems as the technical lead. Managed datacenter and a team of 51 on-site and in the field IT staff and 2 IT managers across multiple platforms and projects. Collaborated with different company teams to produce comprehensive IT manual for new employees to understand and correctly use the internal networks and systems. Played an instrumental role in companywide migration from legacy mainframe system applications to distributed platform applications by providing end-user training and support. Successfully directed the on-time, on-budget completion of datacenter upgrade from mainframe system to UNIX impacting 1000 onsite staff. Managed datacenter budget and tracked expenses.
