At Thomas Arbaugh Music, I teach student's how to play the guitar, bass guitar, upright bass, mandolin, ukulele, utilize improvisation, music theory, recording skills, and composition skills. I also perform music and compose music to be distributed by publishers.

As a Housing Stability and Resource Coordinator, I authorized rent assistance applications, assisted Housing Advocates/Case Managers when they needed extra assistance, trained AmeriCorps members, supervised AmeriCorps Members, communicated with partner agencies, and participated in conversations regarding program development with our funders.

As a Housing Stability Case Manager, I assisted clients who were experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless. In this position, I trained AmeriCorps members and contributed to the direction and growth of the program.

As a Getting Started Specialist within the Career and Advising Center, I helped prospective and incoming students navigate the process of starting their college career, including applying to the college, participating in orientation, and applying for financial aid.

United Way of King County's Benefits Hub aims to create equitable access to education by supporting students through financial crisis. As a Benefits Hub Coach, Thomas works with students in a one-on-one setting to hear and understand their struggles and connect them to the resources and financial education they need to over come the barriers to their education and ascend from poverty.
