I started a non-traditional commercial finance business, Elite Business Financing, to provide alternative funding for small businesses including startups after 35 years of working in the banking industry. In the process of developing my own business, I got connected to American Financial Network which provides different leasing programs to create a "win-win" situation for small businesses and banks throughout Northern Wisconsin and the U.P. This program can fill some of the gaps to help businesses succeed and provide options not available with traditional bank options.While traditional bank financing for small businesses may not be available, I'm working on finding solutions for small businesses that can provide leasing programs and working capital to succeed in today’s challenging environment.During my career in finance, I have considered myself a relationship banker and my goal was to find a solution for customers that provide the best chance for success. I wanted to get to know my customers and wanted them to be repeat customers throughout my career. Coming from a rural community, I feel like it was very important to do whatever I could to create a positive impact on small businesses and my community. I was granted the opportunity to represent small banks and Northern Wisconsin for 6 years by serving on the Board of Directors at the Federal Reserve Bank Board of Directors in Minneapolis, Minnesota.Besides work, my main priority will always be to spend time with my family and enjoy the my time with my grandchildren. My passion for community involvement has been to dedicate myself to coach various levels of baseball and basketball for over 35 years My family gave me the passion for sports as I am the son of the only father-son duo to ever be elected to the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame.
