Responsibilities:Member of the ANZ Senior Leadership Team reporting to the ANZ CEO for the development of specific projects relating to Industrial Optimisation strategies for the Liverpool and New Zealand Energy Cables PlantsKey Achievements:• Australia/New Zealand/Asian Plant competitiveness analysis and due diligence• Compiled detailed Technical Functional Specifications, Asset Management Life Cycle considerations, Plant Footprint designs, Labour and VOHC Structures, Market Volume and Plant Capacity models, etc, supporting strategic Industrial Optimisation scenario analyses and proposals with associated financial modelling

Responsibilities:• Member of the ANZ Senior Leadership Team with P&L responsibility for driving a business generating revenues in excess of $400M/annum and a Product Portfolio of over 4,000 individual Cable Designs • Oversee day to day Energy Cable Manufacturing operations for our Sydney and Auckland manufacturing plants employing circa 300 personnel within a 24x7 operational environment, ensuring Safety, Environmental, Quality, Service and Operational Efficiency objectives are met• Operational Management of Labour, Material, Variable Overhead and Fixed Cost objectives,with annual OPEX budgets (excluding materials) exceeding $35M AUD• Management of Industrial Relations and strategy development/negotiation of EBA’s with multiple Union’s on our sites (NUW, AMWU, ETU, NZAEPMU) Key Achievements:• Played a key role in the Energy Cables Business transformation from basically an insolvency position in 2002/2003 to an EBIT position approaching $20M in 2008• Savings in annual Workers Compensation costs of $1.8M, reduction of Customer Product Quality Complaints by 500%, improvement in Customer Service objectives by over 50% during the period of 2003 to 2013 whilst achieving record operational volumes• Improvement in Labour Efficiency during the 2003-2013 period delivering annual cost base savings of over $5M• Contributed to the delivery of circa $10M in Supply Chain savings during the period 2003-2006• Develop, negotiate and incorporate business strategy within multiple EBA’s • Extensive CAPEX management from strategy to commissioning, with gestation periods running into months and budgets exceeding $7M• Effective Plant Resource management via proactive Machine Reliability, Operational Asset Management, Autonomous Maintenance and CMMS Systems and processes • Design, development and implementation of Change Management processes supporting a range of change initiatives• Industrial Business acquisition, Industrial Due Diligence and Operational Rationalisation

Responsibilities:Similar in content to the responsibilities highlighted under the Manufacturing Director – Energy Cables role, however aligned purely with the Telecommunication Cables Manufacturing Plant located in Dee Why, Sydney, supporting a business generating revenues of circa $100M-$150M per annum at the timeKey Achievements:• Key member of the Telstra Bid Team successfully securing an exclusive supply agreement for all of Telstra’s Copper and Optical Fibre Telecommunication Cable requirements in 1997/1998. An agreement which still stands today, and considered to be an underlying attribute supporting the Company’s NBN Contract success in recent times • Design, planning, implementation and commissioning of a $15M plant capacity expansion (300%) program over 24 months to service 100% of Telstra’s Copper and Optical Fibre Telecommunication Cable requirements, all within an existing plant footprint and whilst servicing an established Customer base• Introduction of a Workforce expansion program (recruitment, training, competency assessment, rosters) peaking at circa 200 within a 24x7 operational environment• Realisation of record plant output levels following the completion of the plant capacity expansion program, whilst complying with stringent Customer and Regulatory requirements• Development and implementation of SAP based Supply Chain Management (S&OP, Capacity/Production Planning, MRP, etc) systems and processes to manage business growth following the capacity expansion program• Implementation of daily, weekly and monthly Plant Performance metrics supporting effective management and control of the operations to deliver P&L objectives and provide for local business and consolidated reporting processes to our Italian based parent Company• Defined operational strategy requirements, and negotiated the agreement of those requirements within multiple (1999, 2001) EBA’s• Introduction of numerous New Products supporting local and export markets
