As a system engineer Tomas worked with the electrical architecture for futuristic projects (Autonomous) at SCANIA AB. Tomas developed both low voltage and high voltage wiring harness. Tomas was responsible for integrating a new power distribution box into a new system. Tomas also supported the buildup of the prototype bus.

The role required Tomas to have constant communication with customer for the establishment of the charts and follow up the time table. He also had continuous follow up meetings with the internal team to ensure that deliveries where robust and takes place in accordance with the time plan.

With the information provided by customer such as load profiles he was able to dimension the wiring harness cables. When the wiring harness architecture where ready he implemented the draft in SABER harness. Electrical distribution and fusing strategy where also part of his tasks.

As a design engineer Tomas worked with implementing the wiring harness architecture in Saber harness. Using SPA (Volvo architecture) platform as a base to modify and add new input to make it the new CMA platform (Geely & Volvo architecture). The role required Tomas to have continues communication with the team to be able to deliver robust and fault free wiring harness schematic.
