As a Clinical Physicist at Catharina Hospital, I applied my Master's degree in Physics of Life and Health to ensure the safe and effective use of medical technology for diagnosis and treatment. I worked with a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, technicians, and researchers to optimize the quality and performance of medical equipment, such as MRI, CT, ultrasound, and radiation therapy. I also contributed to the development and implementation of new techniques and protocols, such as 4D flow MRI and adaptive radiotherapy. Prior to joining Catharina Hospital, I completed a one-year internship at AMOLF, a leading research institute in the field of nanophotonics, biophysics, and energy. There, I conducted experiments and simulations on the optical properties and interactions of nanoparticles and biomolecules. During my studies at the University of Amsterdam, I developed a strong foundation in physics, mathematics, and programming, as well as a passion for exploring the interface between physics and biology. My goal is to continue advancing my knowledge and skills in this fascinating and challenging domain, and to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of people and society.
