Setting up and coordinating the SLU Gigacow network collecting data from 15 farms in Sweden to monitor over 5000 dairy cows on an annual basis. In the role i also serve as a contact point for collaborations in the intersection between precision dairy farming, technology development and genetics research.

Deploying the platform enables research groups to carry out advancedresearch projects with very limited means. With the eB3Kit researchers can integratedata from a wide variety of sources, including the local laboratory informationmanagement system and analyse data using the Galaksio interface which connects to a Galaxy server for bioinformatics.
