Bachelor of Dental Surgery student at Peninsula Dental School with an MSc in Biomedical Science (Infection and Immunity). I have interests in oral microbiology, oral medicine and oral surgery.I have laboratory experience gained from research studentships and my masters degree where I investigated the impact of smoking on the oral microbiome and nitrate reduction. This developed my skills in microbiological and immunological laboratory techniques and clinical trial design. I have presented my research at both national and international levels.Previously the Academic Secretary for Peninsula Dental Society, providing academic support such as practice questions and revision sessions to first year BDS and DTH students. Also served on the commitee for Plymouth University Medical Academic Society and assisted with the organisation of the BDSA 2023 Conference.
