The Oracle Sales Class of Academy is a comprehensive program designed to equip participants with knowledge, skills, and tools to make an instant impact on a highly collaborative sales team. The thematic, interactive, and social approach combines agile selling, value based messaging, interactive learning applications, and social technologies into a 5 week on-boarding experience.

My role as a Communications/Outreach Assistant is to carry out day-to-day clerical work in the office. I am in charge of updating the TAS database system as well as High Rise used by the school in order to keep communication within the departments and other universities consistent and efficient. I help manage, research and develop new ideas for social media for the school. One of my first projects was to help create an Instagram account for the school which has helped increase awareness and following from students and businesses. I also assisted with any administrative work for each of the three Section Heads and Director for the School of Architecture. Lastly, I take part in the coordination and setup of any events that take place in the Knowlton School of Architecture.

I assisted with entertainment, contests, activities, promotions (t-shirt toss, prize giveaways, on-field contests, etc.), and served as one of the brand ambassadors responsible for meeting, greeting, and interacting with our guests from start to finish. I helped guests with finding seats, vendors, or any other part of the stadium when necessary. I partook in data collection for all contests, sweepstakes, etc. during home matches and outside events held by the Columbus Crew SC.

As a student lead assistant I was in charge of many tasks involving customer service and daily operations of food stations. I served between 100-200 students/guests during every shift and maintained a clean and welcoming environment. I was also in charge of keeping every other employee in the right stations and helping customers, all the while making sure that each food item was sufficiently stocked. Lastly, I recorded and marked the temperatures of every food item in the stations so that each customer was being served fresh ingredients at all times.

My role at Kroger was to maintain clean, stocked and orderly shelves throughout the grocery department of the store. It also involved interacting with customers and assisting them in anyway. This included helping them find certain items in the store or checking to see if there are any missing products that a customer is looking for that may not have been on the shelves. My job also included updating the store's database system on the number of certain products available in the store if and when there were any missing or even damaged.

I assisted in cleaning the entire water park and amusement park areas of Paramount Kings Island as well as helped guests in anyway. I made sure all sanitation procedures were carried out in an appropriate an orderly fashion so the the parks looked professional and clean for the guests. If any guest had issues finding certain rides, their children, restaurants, etc. I would help them find their way and even walked them to their destination if necessary.

While being a lifeguard at Soak City: Kings Island I was responsible for many things. I was fully trained and certified in basic First Aid and CPR procedures. I enforced all park rules at all times to guests but made sure to maintain a pleasant and fun atmosphere so that every guest had a great time during their visit. I also assisted in directing guests to certain areas of the park if they were lost or confused. Whenever I was assigned to a certain pool or ride, I scanned every part of the perimeter at all times to ensure the safety of all guests on the ride/in the pool.
