Want to get a view of your processes based on real-time activities in your company?Want to play around with different change scenarios and see the effect of your changes before actually pulling the trigger?Want to see the effect of different people or machines doing simultaneous changes to the same process?Every employee or machine that is performing a task connected to an IT system leaves a digital footprint. IndustrySim is a software platform where the digital footprint is collected and used to provide an overview of how different activities within your company are connected through processes. Once, you have the overview, you can play around with different scenarios and immediately see the effect of any change that you are considering. You can even see the effect of different colleagues doing changes at the same time. Changes can of course also occur where no employee is involved, e.g. machine or system changes. As long as you have a digital footprint, you can utilize our solution. All of this is based on data that reflects actual activities within your company, so it doesn’t get more realistic than that.Time is money. Hence, you need to know the time it takes to complete different processes and what you can do to reduce the time. Then you try to reduce the time by changing different factors in your process and you see the effect immediately. What is the most cost effective way to optimize a process. Maybe you need to evaluate different alternatives such as capital or resource investments or the effect of different automation ideas. Here you need a realistic support tool that can help you to maintain an overview of the effect of different decisions.Sounds too good to be true? Let’s do a test and see it for yourself. That will cost you nothing.Connect with me and let’s see if IndustrySim could be the right solution for you.

Installed the first prototype system in the lime plant of Nordkalk in Parainen back in the late 1994. The measurements provided by the system were used to control the grinding of lime that was used for injection purposes in the steel industry as well as the coal grinding and burner optimization for the lime kiln. The measurement system was also considered to be a very sophisticated software product containing many different types of features(e.g. sophisticated control features). Next year, that is 1995, the company tested, successfully, the system on a paper machine. In 1996 the venture capitalists Sitra and Aboa Venture invested in TR-Tech Int. Oy, and, hence, became minority shareholders in the company. However, in 1997 it was written in the business plan that the company should focus its limited resources on the biggest market segment for the product, that is, coal fired power plants. The markets were mainly in USA for this application and in 1998 a distributor and cooperation agreement was signed with Foster&Wheeler Corporation in USA. The business and the development of the product were done in parallel. However, a creation of a totally new market was pretty slow, and, hence, time and money consuming. TR-Tech Int. Oy has been granted a few patents as a result of the R&D activities. The business was needed to be developed further and in 2004 a distributorship agreement was signed with Siemens AG in Germany. The strategy of the TR-Tech was then pretty much revised to match the cooperation with two big business partners. The success story was completed when Foster&Wheeler Corporation from USA acquired the whole share stock of TR-Tech Int. Oy in early 2007. Show less
