This includes defining the problem, passing from idea to MVP, and iterating their solutions according to market feedback. I work with founders directly.

As I waited to join my next job, Madeiguincho welcomed me with open arms, teaching me the best practices in Woodworking. One of the best experiences of my life and for that I am truly grateful to all the team.

o Achievements: - I was responsible for the fastest recruitment in the International company for a new employee; - My interview case was considered the best my superiors had seen; - The Mock interview I did to my superior was one of the best she ever saw.o Mistakes: - I lost enthusiasm when my expectations for my job were much higher than reality; - I put too much pressure on my results when I shouldn’t have; - I felt at fault about things I could not control.o Learnings: - I should be clearer about my expectations before I enter a new job; - There is a learning curve in a new job, no matter how senior you are; - Taking responsibility for and learning from mistakes is essential for growth, but taking fault for factors outside my control can be as crippling as not owning my own mistakes.o Acquired Skills: - Effective feedback; - Interviewing Skills; - Prioritization; -Time Management; - Knowing when to quit.• Summary: I searched for, interviewed, and guided more than 80 candidates in their search for a job in a startup. This was done in constant synergy with a great and young team comprised of many people from different countries and cultures.

o Achievements: - Bonded with the kids and teachers; - Was requested almost every day; - Was able to help pay most of my expenses while studying abroad from what I earned with this job.o Mistakes: Sometimes - I prioritized this in relation to my Masters (it was much more fun)o Learnings: - The best way to teach is through example and questioning, even little kids; - To a certain limit, I can be much more efficient if I have to squeeze more things into my schedule; - Sometimes the most simple of people have the most to teach you.o Acquired Skills: - Conflict resolution; - Establishing limits; - Time management; - Patience; - Appreciating the little things.• Summary:To help pay my bills and have contact with one of the first, and purest, phases of development I worked in the Sheffield Hallam University Nursery helping out in daily tasks from cleaning to reading to entertaining to informal teaching. I’m happy to say that I learnt more than I taught.

Jump Pre-Acceleration Programo Achievements: - Created the first Pre-Acceleration Program for Nova SBE students to create their own Startups from scratch; - Successfully helped 17 teams of students to pass from idea to MVP; - This is the only project that is still active from the time I created it; - Manage much more senior people than me (for short periods of time).o Mistakes: - Wanted to do too much and ended up spending too much time on superfluous things;o Learnings: - The 80/20 rule is real; - It pays off to work hard for something you believe in; - The creation of companies and the development and people are consistently two of my greatest passions.o Acquired Skills: - Data Analysis; - People Management; - Program Management; - Timeline execution.• Summary: After realizing the need for it, I designed, created and lead the first Pre-Acceleration Program of Nova SBE, helping 17 teams of students create their own startups

Zero Gravity Acceleration Programo Achievements: - Planned, designed, and oversaw the creation of all the program’s merchandise; - Successfully organized all logistics of the weekly “breakfast with founders”; - Advised Startups on their daily and strategic problems.o Mistakes: - Wanted to do everything perfect without help and ended up taking too long; - Was too concerned about what other people thought of me; - Procrastinated the main tasks and focused on accessory ones.o Learnings: - Avoidance equals fear; - It is normal to fail while learning; - I can never control what another person thinks of me; - I can learn a lot from other people’s learning curve.o Acquired Skills: - Procurement; - Operational planning and execution; - Public Relations; - Entrepreneurship; - Innovation• Summary: I helped in the operational part of bringing to life and managing Nova SBE’s first Acceleration Program (with investment made in some of the Startups)

• Summary:I worked as an intern in the M&A department of Haitong Investment Bank in Lisbon. I learned about all the previous M&A’s the bank had done, the process they followed, and did research on potential future M&A’s

Nova Junior Consulting (Previously Nova Junior Enterprise)• Summary:We worked in this junior enterprise as students and consultants at the same time. Our clients were real companies who wanted the consulting view of university students at a lower price. I did consultancy projects, recruited and interviewed, and worked in a team with my colleagues to do so.

• Summary:During my second semester at IST, I worked part-time at Sumol + Compal, learning a lot about logistics in general and excel. It was my first work experience and opened my eyes to the way a company operates.
