We started Sport Buddy with my ex colleague from Microsoft, because we both have passion for Ice Hockey and we lacked tool which would allow us to manage hobby hockeys. This is our pet project, which on we are working in our free time or between projects.I always used this project to try out and learn new things, for example it was my first Kubernetes cluster, first React Native mobile app or first steps with GraphQL here on this project. Therefore I found this project extremely useful in my career, because not every time we have chance to touch technologies we are interested in. I was able to convince other people on other projects to use these technologies as it's extremely accelerate development time, removes holes between Backend and Frontend teams and makes code maintainable into the future.

I was asked to join as a first developer in new startup called BeApp, to architect the whole system. We started with mobile application for iOS and Android written in React Native (using TypeScript, apollo client for GraphQL, styled-components etc...), for that we also needed backend which is GraphQL API in Node.js also written in TypeScript, using MongoDB, Redis databases. This backend system runs in Kubernetes cluster, which was deployed to AWS (used Kops). We also had to develop two web applications, one is a web version of our mobile app and second is back office for administration.It was very interesting experience as I was able to touch product from the server infrastructure in Kubernetes to mobile and web clients. I was responsible not only for programming, but also for leading other developers, who joined us throughout this project.

Purpose of this project was to create MVP of mobile application for managing and ordering private jets flights. It was only me and one other developer on this application. We started with Kubernetes cluster in AWS, which served our GraphQL API backend written in Nodej.js (TypeScript), finally there was mobile application for iOS and Android, for which we used React Native (TypeScript, apollo client, styled-components etc...).We finished this MVP and it's published for testing in App store, this project is currently on hold as CEO is trying to get investment.

I joined Blabu at the very beginning of the development and my role was to setup and deploy Kubernetes cluster for staging and lately for production and also to help with creation of development processes. Once we were done with infrastructure, I joined backend team of developers and helped with creation of GraphQL API written in TypeScript. At the end of me being in Blabu, I was asked to create React Native PoC, which took only week or two, to prove that it is possible to create easily native clients for iOS and Android.

Facemoji app needed API for some social features, I was asked to create GraphQL API which runs on Kubernetes cluster, we were using Neo4j database, which was my first touch with graph databases.

Working with wide set of technologies starting on Devops with Kubernetes, creating microservices with NodeJS (Typescript), AWS services (Postgres, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, etc.), React based applications using TypeScript, Apollo and NextJS.

National Records Service, I have been working on backend part of ERMS Electronic Records Management System, which is taking care of digitalising all documents across departments in Gambian government. We were using Symfony3, Doctrine, Twig and MySql. My role in this project was to create architecture of the system, programming of backend part and setting up servers (Main server and failover server, with MySql replication and file synchronization).

I was part of team of four software engineers, who were maintaining Skype portal project. We were for example updating code to be able to run on PHP7, developing new features, maintaining Postgresql database in distributed system. We were using Agile methodologies (SCRUM) to organize our work. Also we were using chef to propagate changes across servers.

I have acted as a Freelance Web Developer since 2009. I operate this businessin my free time as it allows me to continue expanding my knowledge of thelatest technologies as well as acting as an online CV for my skills.Development of CMS based on Nette framework, deploying system, virtual servers administration, PHP, JavaScript, Java, Android, NodeJS, AngularJS.Another try of improvement to CMS, rewrite into SOA (Symfony3+Doctrine with Angular2).Usage of Vagrant, VirtualBox and Ansible to automate creation of development environment for my colleagues as well as set up of test and production servers.

First two months I have been working as a PHP developer, we had a task to improve source code of one middle sized application for internal statistics. After a code review we have decided to completely rewrite this application to SOA, backend was in Symfony+Doctrine and frontend part was in Angular. Despite small size of the team we were following scrum methodology, focusing on high quality code (well documented and tested with more than 90% of code coverage). We were able to deliver on time, with all goals completed.After this short term project I was assigned as a Team leader to nodejs project, which was about creating application for information systems into trains. My predecessors picked very interesting approach for this problem and it was a pleasure to continue with technologies such as ZeroMQ, WebSockets and others. Equally interesting was again Scrum methodology, which was very strictly followed up, it was like reading a book about Scrum in real life!

As part of my role I was responsible for developing enterprise application fortravel agency. The core of this application uses Nette framework and specialORM library. My duty was to extend the application with new funcionalities inPHP, HTML5, JavaScript and CSS. Application uses MySQL database and runs onGNU/Linux with Nginx.

As part of my role I worked on the redevelopment of our client's onlinepresences. These applications used Zend Framework and Doctrine2 ORMlibrary. The core languages I used to use for this role wereHTML/XHTML/HTML5, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and CSS. I worked extensivelywith GNU/Linux based systems, and primarily used a MySQL database.

As a Web Developer within the Production team, I worked closely withdesigners, developers and the creative director in implementing customsolutions for our clients in the private sector. These projects were primarilyimplemented using own developed CMS called Aitom which required expertknowledge of how to tailor the CMS to the needs of the clients as well as tocomplete the implementation within extremely tight deadlines. I primarilyused PHP, JavaScript, HTML/XHTML, MySQL and CSS in this role.
