I am a part of a team looking after the USA. This market represents more than half of the total volume for Hennessy. My mission is to manage the replenishment of the West coast warehouse, monitor the stock levels organise the transport plan, process orders and respond to accelerations and decelerations of products. From the start of this position, the maritime crisis started to erupt causing big delays in the USA ports. This impacted the lead time as well as the coordination of transport reservations. We have gone to reserve from 3 weeks in advance to 6-8 weeks in advance.I also participated in SAP upgrade testing to validate the correct functioning for the USA perimeter.

My first missions were to follow key performance indicators such as Service level, Forecast Accuracy, etc. Then the focus was on periodic SLA review with a goal of reducing the Safety Stock without lowering Service level. During my apprenticeship, I oversaw a project to develop new digital practices in the demand planning team. The goal to reduce time spend on nonvalue added tasks. Careful analysis has shown big part of manual tasks could be automated. I have been able to develop new applications using the Qlik BI tool to automate numerous KPIs and allow more detailed analysis.

My mission consisted of providing an analytical and technical support for the French subsidiary. More precisely to use and maintain the Demand Planning tool Vanguard as the primary forecasting system tool. Review historical sales trends prepare forecast data and evaluate forecast results.I liaised with Commercial teams to ensure that the most realistic demand view is fully reflected in the forecasts.Support monthly S&OP process and construct reporting consisting of numbers of KPIs linked to the stocks, forecasts, shortages and slow movers for the directors of business units.

Part-time work to support me during studies and full time on holidays. The most importantly I was making sure café was up to the standard with the presentation, service, and quality. Secondly ensuring daily business targets were met (ratio between sales and labor costs). I have also been in constant contact with suppliers inquiring about promotions, unavailable items and making orders. Stock management and stock rotation were key to limit wastage costs. In my time I have trained 8 members of staff. It was tough work, always on my feet in the fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
