I am a Sales Operations Analyst working at Premia Solutions Ltd. and I focus on the processing, analysis, manipulation and reporting of the company’s sales data. My position involves preparing and presenting data findings, trends, and summaries to both internal and external stakeholders, communicating effectively and comprehensively insights and recommendations derived from data analysis. Utilising software such as Microsoft Excel and VBA, for data manipulation, visualisation and automation purposes, I play a key role in streamlining the data management processes within the sales function, continuously looking to improve and update our reporting capabilities. In collaboration with the Head of Sales Operations at Premia Solutions Ltd. we also support the sales and marketing team with any reporting and data-related inquiries, helping to align efforts with business objectives. I also oversee the management of the company’s CRM system, Monday.com, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and system optimisation, in addition to providing necessary support addressing CRM-related needs. As of June 2023, I have become a University of Aberdeen alumni graduating with a degree of Master of Arts in Economics with honours, achieving an upper second-class grade. I have also acquired the Economics Memorial Prize from the University of Aberdeen, an award granted to the best dissertation in economics submitted by either a joint or single honours final year economics undergraduate student, for my dissertation on “The Time-varying dependence structure between oil prices and stock returns” focusing on the UK stock markets and global energy markets. Throughout the time I spent working on my dissertation, and at university in general, I would also build on my pre-existing knowledge of software languages such as Microsoft Excel, R, Eviews 13, and others, that I would use for data analytics, statistical modelling and data visualisation purposes.I would also put myself forward to fortunately become elected multiple times as a class representative for my economics course at the University of Aberdeen, a role that sees these representatives act as an intermediary between the students and the professor, bringing forward any comments or common queries from the class. This position would often test my knowledge of the course as well as advancing my communication, teamworking and oratory skills.
