This role encompassed elements of a Digital Learning Consultant and Academic Consultant. • Developing & delivering course content Object Orientated Programming, Web Authoring, Networks, Cybersecurity, Games Design & Development, Database Methods, Spreadsheet Methods, Word Processing, Personal & Professional Development; emphasising practical skills alongside theoretical knowledge.• Delivering course content through the use of active and collaborative learning methodologies to help with students’ creative, collaborative and communicative skills. Creating 21st Century teaching and learning projects and assignments, driven by technologies such as Moodle, Google Drive, GameMaker and Kahoot. Significantly enhancing students technical and problem-solving skills.• Guide Rathmines College journalist students digital content creation skills through HTML, CSS, Javascript, photo editing and WordPress website creation to prepare them for the media industry. • Foster relationships with industry professionals to ensure course content remains current and relevant, aiding student readiness for the workforce.• Maintain a high success rate of students progressing to further education or securing employment in the IT sector.• Worked with primary school children on an after-school programme called The High Achievers Club.• Delivered a Dublin City University Smart Skills programme to Transition Year students.
