I have a strong foundation in both mechanical engineering principles and in product design using CAD software, such as SOLIDWORKS and Autodesk Fusion 360.I graduated with honours (2:1) from the University of Birmingham, where I successfully completed several projects demonstrating my creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills.I worked on three long-term group projects: Designing a CO2 capture facility, modelling a gearbox for a small aircraft and developing an integrated drone and van delivery system. I have always used my leadership and teamwork skills to organise my team to succeed in many complex challenges.For my individual final year project I developed an Energy Consumption Minimisation Strategy for Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles using MATLAB-Simulink for which I was highly praised by my supervisors and professor.During summer 2023 I spent 4 months living and studying in Canada. I successfully completed a series of online courses that reinforced both my maths skills and my knowledge of MATLAB to a high standard.I enjoy keeping fit and healthy. I am a passionate tennis player and was part of The University of Birmingham Tennis Team. I believe collaborating with fellow players teaches me valuable teamwork skills.I am eager to apply my knowledge, skills and experience to a challenging and rewarding role in the mechanical engineering industry.
