- The challenge presented was centered around the creation of a sustainable product or service, with a strong emphasis on the theme “Smart Cities”.- Our innovative concept centered on the creation of a technological app and various related products intended to decrease and monitor household water expenses. The primary goal was to help customers identify patterns in their water consumption, encourage water reuse, provide an online rewards system and promote public awareness of water usage in residential environments.

- "The Clash" serves as the focal point for case study competition during ENGeniUM, the engineering event hosted by the University of Minho. The competition is a collaborative effort organized by various academic courses, each represented by its respective student associations.- As a part of a diverse team of five individuals, we achieved victory in the competition, surpassing five other competing teams.- The challenge presented was centered around the creation of a sustainable product or service, with a strong emphasis on addressing the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).- Our innovative concept involved the development of a technological app aimed at promoting home composting, enabling consumers to acquire fresh fruits and vegetables at no cost.

During the first semester of my first year in the Industrial Engineering and Management master's program, I had the privilege of collaborating with seven colleagues in a Project Based Learning initiative with the company "Polopique", facilitated by the University of Minho. Within my team, we tackled various aspects of the textile company's operations, focusing on three key areas within the dyeing section:- Enhancing employee safety conditions when working with machinery.- Developing a new work system to optimize workflow efficiency, including time and movement management within the section.- Creating an Excel tool using VBA to receive and organize orders based on fabric type, processing time, customer deadlines and other relevant factors, streamlining the production process.

During the second semester of my last year in the Industrial Engineering and Management bachelor's degree, I had the privilege of collaborating with a group of colleagues in a Project Based Learning initiative with the company "Haken"(IBG Group), facilitated by the University of Minho.
