Key responsibilities consist of reporting, management, forex risk offsetting (swaps), sales support (financial tools, contracts) kaizens, legal matters, EU funds management and supervision of daughter companies. Company keeps Japanese business culture accommodated to the European environment. Revenues cross 4 mil USD and EBIT 10%.Start-up sized European subsidiary of a Japanese company with 4 employees established into mid-size company with 35 employees. Territory – Europe, Russia, Middle East and Africa. Initial phase focused on development of internal administration, standardized contracts and GTC, HR processes and financial system with support of outsourced services from KPMG.  2012 European Production of wastewater dewatering machine started 2014 ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification granted (international standard for a quality management system). 2015 expansion of team and delegation of daily operation to finance and HR manager 2016 a joint venture with UK based Atana Limited established – CHEM.ENGI (chemicals business); first annual financial audit 2017 European R&D team established 2018 European Union funds for R&D innovation project granted; construction of own laboratory for testing on wastewater and chemicals 2019 Establishment of German branch AMCON Deutschland

I was part of team which developed financial strategies for Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects for the national transportation infrastructure of the Czech Republic. We coordinated activities of the PPP Steering Committee which included Deputy Ministers from the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Finance. Working with external advisors, we managed the complex tracking and documentation process for public procurement.

I supervised departments of the Director General and the Chairman of the Supervisory Board. I arranged top management and Supervisory Board meetings with various committees and documented these meetings for the official record. I managed the annual department budgets and controlled expenses. I mediated formal written communication between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Czech Postal Service.

I negotiated sales of rape meal from two remote oil seed processing plants. Each plant had the capacity of app. 20,000 tons monthly. I generated monthly revenues exceeding € 5 million. I directed two logistics teams which distributed product to the European Market (160 trucks and 2 trains per week). I initiated and counseled external market trading and hedging in the form of commodity swaps.

I managed the retail shop with 6 employees for the Czech Republic’s Pavilion at the EXPO 2005 World Exposition in Aichi, Japan. During my 7 months of living and working in Nagoya, I cultivated commercial relationships that blossomed after my return to the Czech Republic. These relationships resulted in export/import activities between European – Asian trade partners that exchanged manufactured goods, consumables and foodstuffs.

I interpreted and translated during start-up phase of the company (Czech/Japanese/English) and demonstrated a bridge between Japanese and Czech culture.
