Réseau Abilis consists of 25 locations offering housing and care to people with a medium to severe mental disability. It caters to people different levels of autonomy, including both children as well as adults. In Belgium and France, Abilis currently offers 24-hour care to over 1.200 people.

Burger King SEE S.A. (“BKSEE”), headquartered in Brussels, was established in 2014 as a joint-venture with Burger King Corporation. The company is the Master Franchisee of Burger King in Italy and operates Burger King restaurants in Poland. Through its affiliate Burger Brands Belgium, the Group is also the Master Franchisee of Burger King in Belgium and Luxemburg and owns the Quick brand in these countries. During the time, the group opened over 50 restaurants (both company-owned and franchised).At the group level, Tomas was reponsible of managing local finance teams (in Italy, Poland and Belgium), as well as reporting, consolidation & investor relations. The group finance team also supported acquisitions, management and integration of other brands such as O'Tacos (France) & NordSee (Germany). Tomas further lead the Business Intelligence team, responsible for rolling out reporting and data analysis of the various points of sale.

I supported and lead corporate finance related projects for private equity, listed companies and privately owned companies, mainly relating to M&A deals. Through multi-disciplinary due diligence teams, we support our client's acquisition or sale processes. Over the course of 6 years, I advised client's on the buy- and sell-side for share and asset deals, including carve-out transactions, mergers and strategic alliances and refinancing. I further supported commercial due diligence, independent business reviews and audit engagements.Working in small teams, we focus on (i) assessing client expectations and transaction rationales, identifying potential deal-breakers, (ii) analyzing historical business trends and underlying revenue / EBITDA drivers, (iii) reviewing and analyzing business plans and forecasts, (iv) understanding the net financial debt and historical working capital evolutions.Although I gained valuable experience in a broad range of sectors and industries, my main focus has been on media and entertainment (software, advertising, brand licensing, etc), consumer products, manufacturing and chemical products.After working for 4 years on transaction in Brussels, Belgium, I transferred to EY's New York office in 2014. I further trained local staff at EY's Support Center in New Delhi (India) while being responsible for daily follow up of project work for the Belgium and Netherlands' region.
